Dubli has announced their plans for the opening of the Dubli business in Australia and New Zealand. From Wednesday 4 November 2009 people in Australia and New Zealand will be able to bid for specially selected items on the US Dubli.com auction site. The items will be marked by the relevant country flag and prices will be shown in USD. Even taking into account the cost of delivery, customers can expect the items they purchase to be considerably less than prices they can get anywhere else. This is an interim measure whilst the business is being fully set up in Australia and New Zealand. A fully-functional, exclusive Australia and New Zealand auction site and shopping portal will be operational from 1 March 2010. The auction site is expected to offer a minimum 100 - 200 of the hottest selling, in-demand consumer products and services based on the specific needs of these local markets. Dubli continually survey to identify the best-selling items and ensure that the items they offer are those consumers are looking for and buying. The shopping portal is expected to include 500+ merchants and include many of Australia's best known retailers, restaurants and discount store chains. At this time, prices will be in AUD and products will be shipped from a local warehouse / distribution centre. In all cases, customers will be able to check shipping and delivery prices before they bid for items. We expect that the product range and number of stores available in the shopping mall will increase rapidly as the popularity of this system grows. |
